What we do in your ongoing SEO campaign has much to do with what we found during the audit, and how big the to-do list is.

If we started with a site rebuild, we’ll have implemented most of the “fixes” during the build process, so we can then jump directly into the monthly management phase.

Steadily increasing key performance indicators

We typically see a large growth spike immediately after we’ve completed all the initial SEO improvements, and then a slow but steady YoY growth.

You can expect YoY improvements the first year to be in the 50-300% range, then 25-100% the second year and beyond, provided there are regular SEO improvements being rolled out every month.

It’s only when ongoing improvements are not being fully implemented, that we can see number either decline, or not hitting targets.

There is one caveat with all this. If we’re starting with an unusual situation, such as a manual or automated Google penalty, or if you belong to a vertical that would fall under Google’s your money or your life category, some health and financial categories for example. If you happen to belong to such a vertical, Google sometimes applies different ranking criteria, which can require a much more robust campaign to overcome these factors.

We’ll know after we’ve looked at your site and determined the vertical it belongs to if there are any such concerns with your project.
